Transitioning from a holding company of well-known brands that worked independently to an operations company with shared services, Nortek sought to implement a new HR system, Workday, across each of its six business segments.
Through research, our team discovered that Nortek completely lacked any human capital management system. Strategizing ways for the company to justify the change to HR professionals and train all employees for the program, we designed a multifaceted campaign maximizing employee buy-in, emphasizing open communication, and enabling accessible education.
Our new Nortek communication plan included multilingual posters, magazine articles, brochures, and employee quick-reference guides to be located around payroll kiosks and employee desks. With our assistance, Nortek smoothly transitioned from fifty-one different payroll systems to one payroll and comprehensive management structure.
